Tint Lab for iPhone and Android · Effective 18 October 2026

The short version. Tint Lab has no account and no servers of its own. Your levels, coins and settings stay on your phone. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device and usage data to serve and measure those ads. On iPhone, your advertising identifier is shared only if you allow tracking.

Who we are

Tint Lab ("Tint Lab: Water Sort Puzzle") is made by Mohamed ElZoghbi, publishing as ZaPlatform ("we", "us"). You can reach us at zaplatform@gmail.com.

What stays on your phone

Tint Lab saves the following only on your device. It is never sent to us, and we have no way to see it.

DataWhat it's for
Level progress, stars and best move countsSo you can pick up where you left off and replay levels
Coins, owned themes, daily challenge results and streakThe shop, themes and the streak calendar
Settings (language, appearance, sound, haptics, colour-blind symbols)Remembering your choices
Whether you own Remove ads or PremiumTurning ads off and unlocking Premium features after you buy

There is no sign-in, no account and no sync between devices. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. Settings → Reset progress clears your progress at any time.

Advertising: Google AdMob

Tint Lab is free because it shows ads: a banner on the Home screen, a full-screen ad between some levels after level 10, and optional reward ads that play only when you choose them. These are served by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and consent is handled with Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Unless you've bought Remove ads or Premium, Google may collect:

Google uses this data to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud and abuse. Where you allow it, ads may also be personalised. Google processes this data under its own policy, not ours:

We don't receive the data Google collects about you. We see only totals in our AdMob account, such as the number of ads shown and earnings.

Tracking permission on iPhone (App Tracking Transparency)

On iPhone, Tint Lab asks whether it may track you before any advertising identifier is used. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the IDFA is not shared with Google, and you'll still see ads, just not ones based on your activity in other apps and websites. You can change your choice at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Advertising ID on Android

On Android, you can reset your advertising ID or delete it (opt out of personalised ads) in your phone's Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path depends on your phone).

Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Tint Lab shows Google's consent message before ads are personalised, and you can accept, refuse or choose by purpose. To review or change your choice later, open Tint Lab and go to Settings → Privacy & ad choices.

Purchases

Remove ads and Premium are one-time in-app purchases processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Billing). We never see your payment details, your Apple Account or your Google account. The app learns only which purchases you own. See the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

Analytics

Tint Lab contains no analytics SDK of its own and sends no notifications. Apart from what the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects as described above, no usage data leaves your device.

Children

Tint Lab is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help.
